I like to believe my home is completely safe for cats. No heavy things on top shelves, no things they can get stuck in etc but yet, they somehow manage to get in trouble at least few times per week  Is your home cat-proof or you just go with the flow?

I stopped worrying several years ago and I act like there's no cat in the house :D

I made sure to remove the things that are super dangerous (lilies, grapes etc)

But at the same time, there's only so much you can do. After a certain point you realize cats are curious as heck, so will wriggle their way into trouble one way or another..

My home is completely cat proofed. Baby locks on almost everything, valuable items are locked, cables are in tubes, plants are cat approved.. there's absolutely nothing cats can destroy. Yet it still happens lol

It sounds like you have a ninja cat... hmmm if only we could channel his natural ability for destruction into something positive:unsure:

Oh, Daisy is not a problem, she's nice and sweet most of the time and knows 'no' means 'no'. Shelter guests are problematic ones :)

What about trash can? I still haven't figured out how to cat proof that.

I don't keep any trash inside for more than few hours. Big trash can is outside and is heavy enough so cats can't open it.
